DJ DHARMA: The term Dharma is an Indian spiritual and religious term that means one's righteous duty, or any virtuous path. As a DJ I consider it my duty to share good music with any who would like to listen. My show title originates from the existential philosopher Jean Paul Sartre who said "Man is condemned to be free. Condemned,because he did not create himself, yet is nevertheless at liberty, and from the moment he is thrown into the world, he is responsible for everything he does." It is my responsibility as a DJ to try and provide good music. I will be showcasing artists who are original and do not prescribe to the board room marketing requirements of what their genre should exemplify. You're gonna hear everything from post-rock to hip hop to Japanese rock and everything in between. Some shows will have a theme while others will be a mix bag of delicious aural treats.
